Iron Fire

Rockdoc - 80s Rock wikipedia
IronFire Was formed in 97 by lead singer Martin Steene, with a vision to bring the melodic 80 Metal into the new millennium with extended power. IF got signed with Noise Records in 98, A label that released a lot of the artists that IF are inspired by, such as Helloween, Running Wild and Rage, among others.
IF released their first album "Thunderstorm" in 99, which achieved good reviews all over the world. IF was predicted a bright future and seen as one of the bands to lead the so called "new wave of Danish metal", to bring Denmark back to former glory and follow the legacy of Pretty Maids, Mercyful Fate and Artillery.
A year later the album "On The Edge" followed, and showed IF from a more inventive and independent point of view. The reviews of "On The Edge" were skeptic, despite the more original sound the album never reached the status the band had hoped for.
Due to the fusion between Noise Records and Sanctuary, IF was cut loose of their record deal.
Over the years IF has reached cult status in the European underground despite of several lineup changes. Today the band is as strong as ever, still playing melodic Metal straight from their hearts.
IF is determent to succeed with their music no matter what it takes! IF is build on pure ambition, hard work and the love for Heavy Metal.
